You can use a Front-end question to test a candidate's knowledge in web development (creating and developing a website). While creating a test, you can either use Front-end questions from HackerEarth's in-built library or create your own questions.

Front-end questions will help you assess whether a candidate can write bug-free, logical code to create the basic design and layout of a website.

Analytical and problem-solving abilities

Analytical and problem-solving abilities refer to the ability to gather data, break down a problem, analyze the design, and reach logical decisions. Using such questions in your test will help you to assess whether a candidate can use the given information efficiently or not.

Proficiency in specific languages

You can restrict the programming languages that a candidate can use while writing code. This allows you to assess a candidate in specific languages based on your requirements including, but not limited to, the following:

• JavaScript

Responsive Web Development (RWD)

Responsive Web Design is an approach that uses HTML and CSS to customize the size of the website, suitable to work on all devices (desktops, tablets, and phones).  

Mini-projects

These small projects will help you to test a candidate's practical knowledge in web development and ability to analyze the problem and provide real-time solutions for businesses.

A candidate is expected to develop a prototype based on the requirements and write the code in HTML and CSS for the same.
